Neighborhood Market will be the new home of the Dixon Veterans Hall. It will be handicapped accessible and centrally located on N. First Street in Dixon.
This building became available and much easier and more feasible to use this building than to remodel the old one which was in poor condition.

Positive result for Dixon businesses from gas price increase
I go into the local businesses and stores to conduct my business and there I see MORE customers than USUAL in Dixon restaurants and Dixon stores! This is good. It means the local residents are not using their gas to drive to other cities to buy things and eat, they are BUYING LOCALLY!
Keep up the good work fellow residents of Dixon! Keep our money local! Support your local businesses! We are your neighbors, we are your friends! -Barbara Adams,REALTOR

Roll out of Dixon California real estate blog June 13, 2008
What a fitting day to start a blog, Friday the 13th! Well, it was a gorgeous day in Dixon today, although the morning sky had a smoky overcast from the ominous Paradise fire that threatens dozens of homes.
Over 85 degrees today. Dixon is nestled all snug up against the eastern side of Solano county, straddled aside interstate 80 it is poised and ready for expansion.
A brand new high school this year, Gretchen Higgins elementary not too much older than that.
Did you hear that Genentech is coming to town next year? The building is on it's way up and the employees are arriving looking around at homes.
I often wonder if the parents of students at UC Davis know there is such an affordable city so close to UC Davis to invest in? Within 5 minutes of the campus, the home values in this city are hundreds of thousands of dollars lower than that of the city of Davis, yet it is accessible, affordable and transit is available to all points.
